About the event
"Circle of Friends Gathering" was conceived as an experimental alternative to traditional worship. We meet in person on the 1st & 3rd Sunday evenings starting at 5:00 p.m. at the "Sweet House" at 145 Sweet Ave. just behind the church, for an informal atmosphere. We begin with a shared meal (pot luck) followed by group time together, in which all opinions are respected, no question is out of line, and we explore together what it means to live as spiritual people, centered around the teachings of Jesus, but open to how the Spirit works in diverse ways, in this complex world.
