Central Presbyterian Church
Presbyterian Women meet in two groups called circles for study and fellowship.
We meet as a large group for a variety of activities and service projects. Here are some examples.
The Backpack Program
We fill school kid's backpacks with food for weekends and holidays.
We cook food for all kinds of occasions, and take it very seriously.
Our activities have included learning tai chi. We don't have a regular tai chi group now, but we enjoyed learning this ancient practice.
We took a field trip to hear John Shelby Spong. We let the men join us.
At the Christmas Season we by gifts for children through the Angel Tree Program.
We went to visit the Presbyterian office at the United Nations.
More Serious Cooking
We have a good time together
We honored Sally at a special event.
We hosted our former PC(USA) Moderator Rev. Dr. John Buchannon
Come, get involved, have a good time, learn with us, and help serve our community.
