We are involved in our community and our world in a number of ways, like making 80 dozen muffins for the Sack Lunch Program and like providing home-cooked meals for the Salvation Arm once a month.

About the event
Muffins for the Sack Lunch Program are made from scratch on the first Thursday of the month until 11:30
Suppers for the Salvation Army are normally prepared on the Second Sunday of the month at 3:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army, but in Covid times we make a sack lunch instead, so we meet on the Second Saturday of the month at 2:00 p.m. at the church kitchen.
We collect canned goods and dry goods for the Clearing House, so bring some when you come to Worship on Sunday mornings at 10:30.
We are involved in advocacy to resist Climate Change by hosting the Citizens Climate Lobby monthly meetings at the Sweet House on 145 Sweet Ave. just behind the church, on the 1st Monday of the Month at 6:00 p.m.
We host PACE: Police and Community Engagement, toward the goals of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, centering the voices of people of color, striving for a just and equitable criminal justice system. Currently, because of COVID, meetin online by zoom on the first Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
